The Identification of the Body of Saint Alexis
Etching and stipple-engraving printed in dark brown
Vitalba contributed five prints to this volume, all being etched in reverse. This frequently occurred in the cheaper end of the contemporary English reproductive industry. Such shortcuts clearly reduced the quality and usefulness of the print, making the original design difficult to read properly.
